Set to Open Just in Time for Summer Getaways
 
Laughlin, Nevada – (May 27, 2020) – Aquarius Casino Resort, located at 1900 S. Casino Dr., and Edgewater Casino Resort, located at 2020 S. Casino Dr., will reopen just in time for summer getaways at 8 a.m. on Thursday, June 4. To welcome visitors back, Aquarius and Edgewater will offer up to a 45 percent discount on all room reservations.
 
“Laughlin has long been a popular destination for summer getaways to take in watersports on the Colorado River and the excitement of the casinos,” said Sean Hammond, vice president and general manager of Aquarius and Edgewater. “We look forward to reopening in time for people to enjoy their trips to Laughlin, while also providing a safe, healthy atmosphere.” 
 
Both Golden Entertainment, Inc. casinos, Aquarius and Edgewater have implemented broad safety measures in accordance with the company’s new “Golden Commitment” standards. These measures include sanitation protocols at every touch point, from the casinos, restaurants and bars to the elevators and rooms. Per guidelines set by the State of Nevada, Aquarius and Edgewater will also limit property occupancies to 50 percent. All health and safety measures are subject to change based on any updates from the State of Nevada.
 
While some areas of the resorts will be closed during an initial reopening phase, most of the restaurants and the main casino floors will reopen.  A full listing of hours and closures is below.
  Situated on the banks of the Colorado River, Aquarius Casino Resort is the largest hotel in Laughlin, Nevada. With 1,906 hotel rooms and suites split between two 18-floor towers, Aquarius offers sweeping views of the Colorado River and the Laughlin Strip through floor-to-ceiling windows. Windows on the River Buffet

A classic buffet experience with an extraordinary view of the Colorado River, Windows on the River offers brunch and dinner daily complete with complimentary beer, wine and margaritas. In addition to food stations serving Asian, American, BBQ, Italian and Mexican food, Windows also offers a Brazilian-style meat carving station and a Mongolian grill. The Cove Bar & Lounge

  Resort Pool

After a $5 million renovation, the pool at Aquarius offers a unique opportunity to lounge, swim and play while overlooking the Colorado River and Riverwalk. The 34,000-square-foot complex includes two Jacuzzis, nine private cabanas and 100 chaise lounges. This resort-style pool offers adult only hours, where guests must be 18 years of age or older.
 
Fitness Center

The fitness center is available to guests only, complete with a variety of weight machines, cardio machines, free weights and medicine balls with 50-inch TVs throughout the space.
  The various meeting spaces throughout the casino-resort encompasses 30,000 square feet of usable space, customizable for board meetings, galas, breakout sessions and more. The 20,000-square-foot Pavilion accommodates up to 2,000 attendees; six additional meeting rooms range from 800 to 3,000 square feet.
 
Weddings
Aquarius Casino Resort lends itself to scenic nuptials with options to be married inside or outside, overlooking the Colorado River or Mohave Desert, in an elaborate gala or an intimate ceremony. Dedicated wedding planners are available to assist with every detail.
 
 
 

   Located on the Colorado River, Edgewater features relaxing accommodations: a world-class casino, resort-style amenities including a pool, spa and fitness center, restaurants and lounges. Edgewater Casino Resort's newest restaurant Wild Style Burgers & Pizza is located on the main casino level just north of the Edge Lounge. Burger ingredients include freshly ground beef, plus a top-it-yourself condiment bar that offers lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, Pico de Gallo and jalapeño slices. Pizzas are 20-inches in diameter and feature an imported cheese blend plus a variety of additional toppings. The Edgewater’s River Bar is located on the main casino level next to the Edgewater Pit, overlooking the Colorado River.  Specializing in handcrafted beer varieties, the River Bar features a wide variety of beer and liquor choices. 
 
O’Aces Bar

The O’Aces Bar is located on the main casino level next to the south entrance of the casino, overlooking the Colorado River. The bar features a full bar and a variety of draft beer selections. 
 
Embers Bar

The Embers Bar is located just inside the entrance to the Hickory Pit Steakhouse on the casino’s river level and provides a comfortable area for steakhouse guests to relax before dinner reservations.

Riverwalk
The Laughlin Riverwalk offers views of the scenic Nevada desert scenery and Colorado River.  Services include summer jet-ski rentals and affordable river cruises to Davis Dam or Lake Havasu City.
 
Electric Vehicle Charging Station
Located in the Edgewater parking garage, use of the charging station is free.  Available on a first come, first served basis.
  The various meeting spaces throughout the Edgewater Casino Resort encompass a total of 37,412 square feet of space, customizable for a variety of purposes, from conventions, reunions, board meetings, galas, breakout sessions and more. The 27,000-square-foot E Center accommodates up to 2,500 attendees and has hosted trade shows, military balls, concerts and other special events.  Four additional meeting rooms range from 1,253 to 4,700 square feet.
