Full job description

Executes guest monetary transactions in an assigned window bank. Maintain an accurate balance count of company assets while providing excellent customer service.

• Maintain accurate handling of guest and company funds by processing all transactions and documentation in accordance with Nevada State gaming regulations, company policies and procedures.
• Exchange gaming tickets and cash.
• Complete all gaming forms and reports as required by the Nevada gaming control board
• Maintain bank balance and safeguard casino cage assets during assigned shift.
• Assist guests with inquiries and advise on current promotions.
• Payoff jackpots in accordance with gaming regulation
• Assist and troubleshoot customer issues
• Replace slot machine tickets when empty and fix machine ticket jams
• Other duties as assigned by management

Position Requirements:

• MUST have previous money handling and cashiering in a gaming environment
• MUST have at least two years working knowledge of Nevada Gaming Standards and regulations
• Basic Math skills and the ability to operate calculators, computers, and money counters for cash and coin
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
• MUST be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by Nevada gaming regulations.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week

Experience:

• Casino Cage Cashier: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Identification Card and Nevada Gamming Card (Required)

• Night Shift (Preferred)
