Executive Director
At Bullhead Regional Food Bank, we are very proud that our organization provides very important food services to our most vulnerable population. To help us continue our path for growth and building capacity, we are in search of an Executive Director to lead our organization and enhance our mission. An ideal candidate will have a keen interest in serving our community, proven ability to strategize best practices, and be our spokesperson and the face of the organization. This position will be full time and include benefits.
This position will report directly to the Executive Committee of the Bullhead Regional Food Bank.
Objectives
- Planning and directing overall organizational operations and projects
- Communicating with board members and organization leaders regarding goals and issues and offering solutions if required
- Establishing a community and media presence to increase awareness of the organization
- Crafting a fundraising strategy and overseeing fundraising efforts
- Managing cash flow and assisting with budget-planning
- Planning and implementing an annual fund-raising event
- Supervising the organization’s daily activities
- Managing and retaining volunteers and cultivating a positive organizational culture
- Specific Job Duties
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the food bank. Assuring that we have maximized efficiencies in our processes of providing food support to our neighbors.
- Strengthen and grow our relationship with St. Mary’s Food Bank and learn/review the reporting requirements for St. Mary’s Food Bank.
- Seek out grant opportunities
- Plan to attend to speak at service clubs on a regular basis.
- Plan and implement at least one major fundraising event annually
- Create and email monthly newsletter.
- Increase Facebook presence with meaningful postings
- Attend monthly board meetings providing a report of monthly activities
- Periodically attend Bullhead City Council meetings and provide updates during “Call to the Public” about the Food Bank
- Oversee maintenance regarding company vehicles and warehouse equipment

- Personability and enthusiasm for being the public face of the organization
- A positive mindset and dedication to the organization’s core values
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Proven fund-raising experience
Ability to speak before large groups and organizations
