Shake, Rattle and Roll with Three Cool-Cats -- The Original Cornell Gunters COASTERS
The Coasters was one of the most popular groups in America and the first vocal group to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1987 with a string of hits such as Charlie Brown, Searchin', Youngblood, Yakety Yak, Little Egypt and many more. Cornell Gunter’s Coasters is one of the best vocal acts in the world today. They combine the unique Coaster sound with their precision choreography, high energy and vocal abilities, along with their trademark humor and audience participation.
The earliest Motown girl group to achieve stardom, the Marvelettes’ “Please Mr. Postman” hit #1 on the pop charts in 1961. "Playboy," "Twistin' Postman," and "Beechwood 4-5789," were Motown's purest girl group efforts. Marvelettes The Tribute pays homage to this remarkable group.
The Alley Cats create the perfect blend of 1950s & 60s hits and hilarious comedy wit their tight, four-part harmony and antics. These musical comics have been Jay Leno’s opening act for the past seven years. The Alley Cats have had the special honor of entertaining US troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, and were invited to perform at the White House.
