Christmas on The Colorado 2023 Boat Parade of Lights
Back for the second year, Christmas on the Colorado, a holiday celebration unique to our natural environment, aims to create a family fun event with pretty boats and an awesome event on land with music, vendors, games and more.
Like last year, the parade will start at the Bullhead Chamber and work north to the Laughlin Bridge where boat traffic will turn and head south back to Bullhead City's Community Park.
The best viewing location will be from The Bullhead Belle. Guests will be able to gather on the upper and lower decks and take advantage of patio seating that overlooks the Colorado River. Some other viewing locations are in the large parking lots along the North end of Bullhead City along HWY 95, along Laughlin's beautiful River Walk, and along the shorelines of Community Park where the family event, launching, and boat parade will begin.
The boats are the star of the show! To reserve your spot in the parade, email Bo Hellams at executivedirector@bullheadchamber.com.
Awards will be awarded just like last year. Best Decorated Business / Non-profit, Best Decorated Family / Individual, and Most Spirited Overall will be the categories to compete in. Voting will be up to participants and spectators! QR codes and clickable links will be distributed at the event for real-time voting!
This year, we will also have food trucks, vendors and exhibits! We're bringing back the S'mores Bar - and MORE! If you would like to sign up as a food truck or vendor, please contact Canden Stanley at cstanley@bullheadcityaz.gov. If you are interested in setting up an exhibit (non-sales booth, games/crafts etc.), please contact Claudia Lambert at info@laughlinchamber.com.
We cannot wait for December 16th to see our river filled with community members far and wide celebrating in holiday spirit! RSVP your vessel today!
*Tickets of any kind are not being sold. Please contact the Laughlin or Bullhead Chamber when questioning anything. Please aim to avoid all spam tactics by double checking with either Chamber staff when in doubt.
