LAUGHLIN, NEV. - June 6, 2012 – Aquarius Casino Resort presents Cove Bar &
Lounge, a new Laughlin hot spot overlooking the Colorado River serving custom
prepared Bloody Mary’s, Mojitos, Margaritas and Martinis along side a long list of
delicious gourmet appetizers.
Aquarius will open its cozy yet sophisticated Cove Bar & Lounge to the general public
on Friday, June 29.
“Cove Bar & Lounge is a hidden gem that we are excited to open to all our guests,” said
Aquarius General Manager Sean Hammond. “It will become ‘the place’ to enjoy an
extended happy hour or light dinner and watch the sun set along the Colorado River.”
Tucked away at the rear of the casino, Cove Bar & Lounge, with its wall of windows
overlooking the Colorado River, offers guests a classy lounge area to bring a date, or
enjoy a drink and tasty bites with a small group of friends. Guests can enjoy sweeping
water views while relaxing on comfy couches. Or sit at a high top table or the bar to
watch a favorite game on one of several flat screen televisions.
Guests of Cove Bar & Lounge can indulge in homemade Blood Mary’s for only $6.99,
and choose to add items like sausage, shrimp, or a smoked cheese wedge to the spicy
drink for a slight up charge.
Hand-crafted margaritas range from the “Traditional” (Don Julio Anejo Tequila, Sweet &
Sour, Triple Sec, Lime and a Salt Rim) for $8.99, to the exotic “Caribbean Mist” (Don
Julio Anejo Tequila, Raspberry Sauce, Grand Marnier, Club Soda & Sweet and Sour) for
$9.99, to the “El Guapo” (Don Julio Anejo Tequila, Grand Marnier, Fresh Lime and
Lemon Juice, Ginger Ale, Jalapeno and a orange slice) for only $9.99.
Specialty Mojitos like “Fresh Apple” or “Raging Raspberry” and Martinis like
“Chocolate Covered Cherry” or “Pineapple Upside Down Cake” range in price from
$8.99 to $11.99.
Appetizers served at Cove Bar & Lounge include Artichoke Crab Dip ($7), Shrimp
Scampi ($9), Bruschetta ($7), Chicken Skewers ($10), Steak and Mushroom Skewers
($10) and even Surf and Turf Skewers ($13). Guests can also great their own gourmet
pizza for $8.99, with additional gourmet pizza toppings like smoked Gouda and BBQ
chicken available for only $.99 a piece.
Cove Bar & Lounge serves drinks Sunday through Thursday 4pm to 11pm, and
Friday & Saturday, 10am to 1am. Appetizers are served Thursday through
Monday, 4pm to 9pm.
